　2009年10月4日17時30分から、鶴屋百貨店東館7Fカーネーションサロンにて、2009年度熊本アイルランド協会総会が開催されました。

　開催に先立ち、アイルランド大使館特命全権大使のブレンダン・スキャネル(Brendan SCANNELL)閣下より、お祝いのメッセージを頂戴しましたので、ご紹介いたします。

Kumamoto Ireland Society Annual Gathering 2009

 

It is a great pleasure to congratulate the members of the Kumamoto Ireland society on the occasion of their Annual General Meeting.

Kumamoto has long had a strong connection with Ireland through Lafcadio Hearn and more recently through the growing success of the Saint Patrick’s Day parade there. I would like to thank you for your dedication to the promotion of Ireland in Kumamoto and beyond the city’s boundaries.

As Ireland’s good relations with the region continue to grow, I would like to wish you every success with this year’s gathering and with your activities throughout the year.

　総会では昨年度の事業報告、決算報告、監査報告が了承され、今年度の事業計画、予算が可決されました。そのほか役員改選も行われ、新理事、新監事よりご挨拶をいただきました。また、今年度より事務局を下記へ引き継ぐことになりました。
